Both Hermes services get direct (unguarded) vhosts: each authenticates itself (webui password; dashboard basic_auth in /data/config.yaml), so no Anubis challenge and no Authentik proxy provider is required. Upstreams are the host LAN IP because Caddy itself sits on dankclaw_default, where the gateway address 10.89.1.1 has nothing serving 8787. Internal-only by DNS absence: hermes.franksdank.cloud already resolves via Pi-hole addn-hosts; hermesadmin is added in this same commit so the caddyfile/addn-hosts cross-check (test 178) stays green.
Server App Configs
The single repository for the two homelab servers: the Podman container stacks and the LLM inference fleet. One repo, one checkout per host, one deploy script.
2026-08-22: the former
vllmScriptsrepository (LLM fleet) is merged into this repo with its full git history. See AGENTS.md for the merge note.

Deployment

./scripts/deploy.sh <dankclaw|dankserver> after committing changes. It
plans and deploys only the changed services. Use --service NAME for an
explicit single-service retry; inference is restarted only when its own files
(or the shared chat template) changed.

The serverAppConfigs-docs/ directory is an Obsidian vault. Start at
serverAppConfigs-docs/index.md. The LLM fleet knowledge base lives at
serverAppConfigs-docs/LLM/index.md.
