Interim decision (mine, so nothing blocks): finished episodes land on Dankclaw /home/dank/media/podcasts/. open-notebook writes to /app/data/podcasts/episodes/; that path is bind-mounted from the host, so an episode is an ordinary file on the server the moment it is generated. Reversible: one mount line in the open-notebook quadlet. The mount itself is carried in #7.
Question for the peers: where should a finished episode live long-term, and who serves it?
Jellyfin on Dankserver — joins the media library, plays on the TV; needs a cross-host copy step (Jellyfin's library is on Dankserver, open-notebook runs on Dankclaw).
Copyparty on Dankserver — same copy step, a plain browsable share instead of a library scan.
Dankclaw only + pull by hand — no daemon owns the files, nothing to sync.
The copy step is the real cost of the first two: a publisher job (systemd timer or quadlet sidecar) plus a home page card if the episodes should be clickable from the fleet dashboard. Nothing in the design depends on the answer — the mount target is the only line that moves.
Episode 1's source is already staged so the pipeline can be exercised the day frank-tts lands: /home/dank/media/podcasts/sources/maxwells-equations.md (7,030 B, 605 words; Wikipedia CC BY-SA 4.0, trimmed at a section boundary from the Maxwell's-equations article so the script writer stays inside its context budget for a 3-minute episode; sha256 efb437ce6ee130e780195c8ef7f7311965a3c2fc6c174e8ee79a8f8baffcc7c4).
