Calibre-Web, RomM and Seerr sat inside "Media Library Apps" carrying a WIP
badge and a "not open to family users yet" sentence each, so the household
grid mixed doors they can use with doors they cannot. They now render under
their own "Work in progress" heading, placed after AI on the user page, and
the copy drops the restated "Work in progress:" for the ask-Frank line the
section heading no longer needs to repeat.
- app.js: SECTION_ORDER.user gains "Work in progress" last.
- services.json: the three cards' section, plus one-line copy trim.
- homepage_config.bats / homepage_pages.bats: the section contract now
includes the new heading and pins the new order (the old test pinned AI
last, which this change deliberately overturns).
- Homepage.md: the classification list and the SECTION_ORDER/wip contract
lines catch up (the user order in the page was already stale, and "down"
was an undocumented wip value).
The admin page is untouched: its WIP cards (Gluetun, mariadb, valkey,
Postgres) are plumbing inside Infrastructure, not applications.
- Every app card carries hex-clipped art: 19 amber-tinted brand marks
from the Simple Icons CDN plus 19 improvised monogram SVGs, wired via
a per-service "art" field; homepage_config.bats pins art presence for
all 32 apps.
- Model cards render zealot -> dragoon -> archon (registry order pinned
in the seam).
- Dragoon and zealot share one common uncensored legal warning (adult
content, harmful/hateful/illegal descriptions, sensitive offensive
cybersecurity topics, severe legal risk, "don't ruin this server for
everybody"), hover label on card and docs.
- Archon gets a bordered red permission callout: ask Frank before use.
- SearXNG obfuscation-not-anonymity note moved to a card-level hover
warning (.svc-warn) and a docs hover note.
- Gitea: self-service signup flow; no need to ask Frank.
- Footer docs/admin/account-settings become glowing bordered buttons;
the admin button is shown only to homepage-admins members via a new
Caddy /whoami endpoint echoing the outpost-injected X-Authentik-*
headers (spoof-proof; the /admin* 403 stays the real gate). e2e pins
both sides.
- Docs naming swept: Protoss names primary, bracketed api ids, explicit
note that a future switchover renames the ids themselves.
The user page now orders Web Apps, Media Library Apps, AI — the models sit
at the bottom, below the apps people click. The AI card and /docs#models
descriptions drop the infrastructure (runtimes, GPUs, tensor parallelism,
draft heads) in favor of what users care about: the hosted model, its
size, the context/parallel capacity, and what it's good at.
Each section's panels fill an auto-fill row (as many per row as the
viewport allows) and the sections stack vertically — the side-by-side
column layout was the wrong read of 'render the sections horizontally'.
The first cutover crash-looped the unit with 'invalid split file name':
the fetch script concatenated the three split parts into a single GGUF,
but part 1's header carries ggml.file_count=3, so the byte-correct
concatenation still advertises itself as a split and the loader demands
a -NNNNN-of-NNNNN filename.
- serve-frank-large.sh: -m points at part 1; llama.cpp loads the split
natively (parts 2-3 auto-discovered in the same directory)
- deploy-remote.sh: LLM_LARGE_MODEL gate path follows
- download-frank-large-unsloth.sh: assembly removed; the parts ARE the
canonical payload, verified against live Hub LFS oids
- docs: runbook model section + troubleshooting note, AGENTS.md, log
- the redundant 87 GiB assembled file is staged on dankclaw at
~/.AGENTTRASH/20260921-frank-large-assembled/
Both pages now group their panels under section headings rendered by shared
renderSection()/renderPanel() components in app.js (SECTION_ORDER fixes each
page's order: user = AI, Web Apps, Media Library Apps; admin = Media Library
Apps, Observability, AI, Infrastructure). The WIP badge splits into WIP: OPEN
and WIP: CLOSED via the wip value ("open"/"closed"); the checker passes the
value through as wip-open/wip-closed. The frank-large card follows the
unsloth llama.cpp cutover, frank-medium follows the FP8 checkpoint, and the
/docs model guide matches. Tautulli (Plex statistics, 192.168.0.235:8181)
joins the admin page's Media Library Apps section with an open link.
- services.json: frank-large/medium/small move from admin-only to the user
page with current descriptions (halogen w4b iGPU; 35:30 layer-split MTP
27B on the R9700s; Gemma4-12B QAT vision path on the 3090) and docs
links to /docs#models
- docs.html: static user documentation (access chain, model guide, media
how-tos, troubleshooting); served at /docs via the post-auth homepage
listener; shipped by deploy_homepage; footer + index link to it
- tests: pages seam asserts the docs contract (page, link, Caddy route,
deployer copy)
- vault: Homepage.md synced (docs landing shipped, cards reclassified)
Two real bugs found on the first production deploy:
- /admin/ 404'd: file_server looked for /srv/homepage/admin/ (a dir), but the
page is admin.html. Add '@admin rewrite * /admin.html' so the /admin/ path
serves admin.html.
- The pages used relative refs (style.css, app.js, services.json, status.json),
which from /admin/ resolved to /admin/... (404). Add <base href="/"> so all
refs resolve to the site root on both pages.
- status.json was written 0600 (root); the checker now chmods it 0644 so Caddy
can serve it regardless of its user.
Red tests first, then the pages.
- tests/homepage_pages.bats: the pages reference the data + theme; no
auto-refresh (Q41); no cursor alteration (Q28); the styling toggle strips
to bare HTML (Q27); the footer shows the last master deployment datetime
(Q43).
- index.html / admin.html: the user and admin pages. A grid of TUI panels,
a summary line, the bare toggle, the deployed-at footer.
- app.js: reads status.json + services.json once (no auto-refresh), renders
one panel per service for the page's category, the toggle, the footer.
- style.css: the terminal TUI theme (green-on-black, phosphor palette,
scanlines) + a ?bare=1 mode that strips to unstyled HTML. No custom cursor.
Functionally verified with a Node DOM shim: 9 user panels, correct summary,
correct footer datetime.
