From 33438f223e4353496c912fb17e5962030eb05216 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Frank Date: Sat, 22 Aug 2026 22:33:16 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] deploy.sh: fix LLM unit relink (unquote source path so ${unit} expands on the remote) The relink loop wrapped the source path in single quotes, which shipped a literal ${unit} to the remote and created a dangling symlink (/etc/systemd/system/frank-default-large.service -> .../${unit}.service), so 'systemctl enable' failed with 'unit does not exist'. The path has no spaces; unquoting lets ${unit} expand on the remote for both source and destination. --- scripts/deploy.sh | 5 ++++- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/scripts/deploy.sh b/scripts/deploy.sh index cb32416..41d7538 100755 --- a/scripts/deploy.sh +++ b/scripts/deploy.sh @@ -219,7 +219,10 @@ fi echo '[4/5] Relinking LLM units and restarting LLM services...' for unit in ${LLM_UNITS[$TARGET]}; do - ${SUDO} ln -sf '${REMOTE_DIR[$TARGET]}/scripts/\${unit}.service' /etc/systemd/system/\${unit}.service + # No quotes around the path: ${unit} must expand on the remote (the path + # has no spaces).
