One addition beyond this issue during the work: the live wallpaper URIs on blankpad (picture-uri, picture-uri-dark) hold file:///home/dank/.config/background — an earlier deploy wrote another box path into this box's settings. They are cleared as part of landing the PR, and the dump line that produced them is deleted, so it cannot recur.
